Maja Ilić - KUD Mreža

Maja Ilić, media artis from Hamburg, joined the Artist-in-Residence Program for 4 weeks. During that period, she realized a photographic work that deals with the leftovers of the Balkan War of the 1990´s. Shocked by the traumatic and traumatizing beauty of the blasted and abandoned sites she visited, she overstepped the initial idea of an multimedia installation towards the simplicity of pure, unmodified photographs.
