Naoko Maeshiba

Naoko Maeshiba Japanese dancer, choreographer and artistic director, who lives and works in Baltimore (USA). Within working visit she has been collaboration on the project Voice of Skin with Irena Tomažin. Naoko Maeshiba has created a performative laboratory KIBISM, whose mission is to provide a theatrical experience where the body is the main medium. “Kibi” in Japanese means “strange beauty” and at the same time ‘delicate inner workings, which may not occur on the surface. ” More of her work can be found:
