Thursday, March 6th at 18.30, Club SOT-24,5Exhibition opening This work questions the formation of resistance in totalitarian regimes, and the role of individuals who conform to these systems. It shows portraits of women who were either part of the resistance or part of the Nazi dictatorship - facing each other. The work deals with representations of people in the personal surroundings of the artist, as well as with those from the “official" history. The only thing left in the end is questions… * Coelestine (born 1977, Salzburg) finished The Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in 2006 (class of prof. Gunter Damisch) and exhibited her paintings in group exhibitions in Vienna (2006, 2007) and Instanbul (2008). . . . . |
