Virginia Genta is a young tenor and baritone saxophone improviser from Padova. She is going to be accompanied by David Vanzan on drums. They also collaborate in many other projects like Jooklo Duo, Zürich against Zürich and Neokarma Jooklo Sextet. Virginia Genta's improvisations are focused on freejazz, African and other ethno sounds. She's a self-thought player and not one who is hesitant to say so since she believes that that is what makes her music creations special. Her work is devoted to the creation of healing sounds that can reach any listener who is open to her powerful, expressive and hot language.
