Mashvatri: Women’s Bullying (Bosnia and Herzegovina) Saturday, March 10th at 22.30, yard in front of Menza pri koritu Street performance with fire juggling Performers: Stefania Kregel, Jasmina Kazažić, Armina Pilav The performance took its name from Rachel Simmons’ book about the culture of aggression between girls and women. The performers play with fire and create a caricature of non-physical and hidden violence by demonstrating acts of calumniation, exclusiveness, insults and manipulation. The four tactics are expressed with movement, (lacking in) communication between their bodies – and fire. The performance points out the presence of bullying between girls and women in their everyday life in order to stipulate the possibility of another type of relationships – relations of mutual help and cooperation. Mashvatri is independent group of artists who bring new ambient, colours and atmosphere the streets with their juggling street performances. They also organize workshops and other events as part of street actions, markets, school events, festivals and spontaneous situations.
