
KRISTINA LENARD
Fotografska instalacija SPREMEMBE
Kristina Lenard je leta 1998 diplomirala na ALU v Zagrebu. Leta 1999
je dobila štipendijo na Likovni akademiji v Krakovu na Poljskem. Razstavljala
je na Hrvaškem in v Italiji.

Njen umetniški projekt Spremembe je plod raziskovanja sprememb,
ki nastajajo ob spremembah življenjskega bivanja in dislociranjem iz
znanega okolja. Pri tem raziskovanju gre umetnici predvsem za vprašanja,
kako lahko sprememba kraja nahajanja ne spremeni osebe, ki je center
opazovanja.
Avtorica izmenjuje sekvence fotografij, ki določajo prostor, v katerem
se nahaja. Tla, na katerih stoji, vključujejo noge in položaje opazovanega
objekta. Položaj nog je vedno na istem mestu in v isti pozi. "Stojim
in opazujem," kot je zapisala umetnica.
Nizanje sekvenc eno za drugo in spremembe okolja so v kontrastu z objektom,
ki stoji in je opazovan.
Sklop takih fotografij daje enotno avtoportretno sliko skozi odnos umetnice
kot opazovalke in prostora, s katerim je umetnica soocena.

Kristina Lenard graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in
1998. In 1999 she got a scholarship for a study at the Academy of Fine
Arts in Krakow, Poland. Her works were exhibited in Croatia and Italy.

Her artistic project Changes is a product of exploration of
changes that arise from crucial life's points and with dislocation from
a familiar surroundings. The focus of her investigation is the changeless
person's attitude towards different places' changes. The author is alternating
the sequences of photos that determinate the space of her current position.
The ground she is standing on includes her legs and positions of observed
object. The position of the legs is always static in their pose and
position. ?I stand and watch? as she wrote.
Putting the sequences on a string one by one and surroundings' changes
are put in a contradistinction with a person object, who stands and
is being watched.
The complex of such photographs gives a uniformed self-portrayed picture
of an artist and her attitude as an observer towards the object and
the space.
