Berlinčanka Bridge Markland je kameleonska virtuozinja, ki se
skozi plesno, teatersko in performativno umetnost 'meče' iz enega ekstrema
v drugega brez vsakršnih omejitev in zadržkov.
Marklandova je umetnica, ki neutrudljivo prehaja iz subkultur v visoko
kulturo plesa, teatra, performansa, komedije in erotične umetnosti.
V vseh njenih vlogah in spolih jo obdaja erotična aura. Ima žensko in
moško seksualno izraznost, ki je daleč od hetero- ali homoseksualnih
meja in vseh pripisanih identitet.
Njena specialiteta je transspolni performans, v katerem lahko občinstvo
v živo na odru izkusi spremembo iz ženske v moškega (in vice versa).
Poleg performansa pa se posveča še pisanju, grotesknemu plesu in plesnim
improvizacijam, recitacijam, intervencijam občinstva, karakterjem nemih
filmov in biografskim performansom.
Bridge Markland že vrsto let vznemirja svoja občinstva na mnogih nacionalnih
in mednarodnih odrih.
Performans bridgeland zwei je celovečerni biseksualni bilingvistični
performans, v katerem družbeno-kritično uprizarja razne ženske in moške
vloge in se nenehno poigrava s spolnimi stereotipi. Spolne vloge na
odru menjava kot spodnje perilo.

Bridge Markland is coming from Berlin, and can be described
as a chameleon virtuoso who "is throwing" herself from one
extreme to another through dance, theatrical art and performances without
any limitations or obstacles.
She is an artist who persistently passes over from subculture into the
high culture of dance, theatre, performance, comedy and erotic art.
Regardless the role she chooses, there is always an erotic aura floating
around her. She is able to express both, female or male sexual expressions
that are far away from hetero- or homosexual limits and all attributed
identities.
Her specific performance is transsexual performance that includes audience's
live-stage experience of transformation from woman into a man ( and
vice versa). Besides described performance she dedicates herself also
to writing, grotesque's dance and dancing improvisations, recitals,
audience's interventions, characters of silent movies and biographic
perfomances.
The staging of Bridge Markland agitates the audience on many nacional
and international stages for a number of years now.
The performance "bridgeland zwei" is a bisexual bilingual
performance where the author performs various female and male roles
with social-critical attitude and plays around with sexual stereotypes.
Gender roles are changed as quickly as if changing underwear.
